Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the mobile application (“App”) developed and operated by Lee Ka Yip (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. Your continued use of the App means you accept any updated version of these Terms.

2. App Purpose

The App is designed to help parents record reading time, book titles, progress, and rewards for children. The App is for personal and family use only, and it is not a substitute for professional educational advice, teaching, or childcare services.

3. User Responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter into the App, including reading minutes, book titles, child profiles, and reward settings. You are also responsible for supervising any child’s use of the App and any redemption of rewards.

4. Accounts and Data

The App may store user-entered data locally on your device or in a cloud service if enabled. You are responsible for keeping your device and account access secure. We are not responsible for data loss caused by device failure, deletion, reinstalling the App, or account issues outside our control.

5. Rewards System

The App may include a points or rewards system, but all points, redemption rules, and gift values are controlled by the parent or user. Rewards are for tracking and motivation purposes only and have no cash value unless we clearly state otherwise.

6. Subscription and Purchases

If the App offers subscriptions or in-app purchases, payment will be handled by Apple. Any premium features are subject to the applicable purchase terms shown in the App Store and in the App.

7. Intellectual Property

All App content, design, code, branding, and related materials remain our property or the property of our licensors. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, reverse engineer, or resell the App without written permission.

8. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use the App to:

• Break any law or regulation.

• Upload harmful, illegal, or abusive content.

• Attempt to interfere with the App’s operation or security.

• Use the App in any way that harms children or others.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the App will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every user’s needs. Reading logs, rewards, reminders, and summaries are provided for convenience only.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. This includes loss of data, missed reminders, or inaccurate entries made by users.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms or if we stop supporting the App. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date above or show a notice in the App. Continued use of the App means you accept the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, unless applicable law requires otherwise.Memory+1
